Jace Evans has been volleyballed across the country for months, but the Teen Mom kid is finally back home: in North Carolina and with his grandma Barbara Evans.
Although The Ashley had refrained from revealing that Jace was back with Barb, The Sun broke the news on Wednesday and The Ashley can confirm it’s true. As The Ashley told you, Jace was sent to North Carolina the same night that he publicly leaked text messages between him and his mom that showed Jenelle in a very unflattering light.
The Ashley’s source confirmed that Jace went “straight to Barbara’s” after he touched down in the Tar Heel State and has been there ever since.
The Ashley’s source also confirmed that Barbara (as well as other family members) are doing everything they can to make Jace’s living arrangement permanent.
“There was a court date earlier this week that Barbara attended,” The Ashley’s source confirms. “Jenelle was also on the call and was not happy about the judge allowing Jace to live with Barbara. She made it clear she didn’t want him to come back to Vegas, but she didn’t want him living with Barbara and was pushing for [Jace to go to] a facility of some kind. The judge did not agree with Jenelle and OK’d Jace living with his grandma. If all continues to go well, the judge will allow Jace to decide where he wants to live, once he’s off probation.”
The Ashley can confirm The Sun‘s report that Jace is doing online high school.
“He does not have any plans at this time to go back to in-person high school,” the source said. “Barbara is fine with his doing school online.”
Jenelle made it known that she is not happy with Barbara.
“My mom is the biggest manipulator I’ve ever met in my life,” she wrote on Facebook and X on Wednesday.
The comments did not garner the fired ‘Teen Mom’ star much support on either social media platform, with many people pointing out the similarities Jenelle has to her “manipulative” mother.
“You’re the same person,” one person wrote in the comment section.
“Takes one to know one!” another person commented.
Last Friday, Jace returned to social media to express his happiness about being back in North Carolina. He also slammed Jenelle on Instagram Stories and revealed that she has allegedly blocked him.
“Crazy how my mom blocked me but I’m doing a lot better,” Jace wrote. “Just a[n] FYI, [I’m] down back in NC.”
Jace then referred to his mom’s recent social media posts about him.
“I just don’t understand why my Momma keeps putting up with all this bs, she needs to let everything go,” Jace wrote. “She shut my phone off cus she’s mad but she keeps posting stupid stuff about tabloids. IDGAF about [that s**t]. Nobody in my family is doing that. So think what you wanna think but the truth is the truth,” Jace wrote.
He then told his mother that he’s aware that she doesn’t want him to post what he says is the truth about her and her parenting.
“Ur never gonna like it,” he wrote. “Suck[s] to hear that but, like I said, the truth is the truth.”
He then asked Jenelle to refrain from posting about him.
“She just needs to stop posting all this stuff,” Jace wrote. “It’s over. I’m back in NC and that’s that. She’s scared for her own loss.”
