The Ravens signed the 28-year-old two-time Pro Bowler at the end of minicamp. He started off hot in training camp, but the Ravens shut him down for about a month of camp to get his knee right.
Alexander returned for the start of the regular season but had a rough showing in Buffalo, and once again went on the shelf to try to get back in game shape. He played in just two games for the Ravens and made five tackles.
Alexander said last week upon landing in Philadelphia that it’s the best his knee, which was operated on Jan. 1, had felt. However, he didn’t make the trip to Green Bay with the Eagles because of a coach’s decision.
