There goes another one.
After injuries to Jake Bauers, Jackson Chourio, and Sal Frelick in recent weeks, rookie phenom Jacob Misiorowski has been placed on the injured list with a left leg contusion. Miz suffered the injury in Monday’s start against the Cubs when Seiya Suzuki lined a comebacker off his leg. Fellow rookie Logan Henderson was recalled to start in Misiorowski’s place for Sunday’s series finale in Washington.
Per a short interview with Sophia Minnaert, Misiorowski is expected to miss two starts and return after the 15-day minimum.

Through seven starts in the majors, Misiorowski has a 2.70 ERA, 3.10 FIP, and 47 strikeouts across 33 1⁄3 innings, earning a 4-1 record and Brewers’ wins in five of his seven appearances.
Henderson, 43, made four starts at the major league level between mid-April and the end of May, earning three wins and pitching to a 1.71 ERA, 3.05 FIP, and 29 strikeouts across 21 innings. He’s been solid at Triple-A Nashville over 16 appearances (15 starts), pitching to a 3.59 ERA, 10-4 record, and 87 strikeouts across 77 2⁄3 innings, though he did have a 6.00 ERA (16 earned runs, 24 innings) across five starts in the month of July.
