Isla Fisher wasn’t kept in the loop about pal Nicole Kidman’s marriage woes before the Oscar winner split from estranged husband Keith Urban.
The “Wedding Crashers” actress briefly touched on the breakup news during an appearance on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade podcast.
“I’ve been married for 23 years. I only just got… separated, divorced,” Fisher, 49, said of her own split from Sacha Baron Cohen on Thursday.
“Do you feel happy? Not happy, but probably — you’re friends with Nicole Kidman. And now maybe she’s going through something [similar],” Carvey, 70, asked.
“I’m really, really, really shocked,” Fisher replied. “I have left a message, I have not connected yet, but I don’t really wanna comment on that because there are children involved.”
To lighten the mood, Spade, 61, chimed in: “I left a like on one of her Instagram pictures and I thought that was a lot. I thought that just shows I’m thinking about you.”
Fisher and Cohen, 54, announced their split last year. They met in 2001 and got married in 2010 in Paris. They are parents of three children.
Kidman, 58, and the country superstar, 57, meanwhile, tied the knot in June 2006 and share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. One day after their split news went public, Kidman officially filed for divorce on Sept. 30.
Court documents obtained by The Post revealed that Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split after 19 years of marriage.
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told Page Six, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things” with Urban.
Additional sources claimed that the exes had been living separately “since the beginning of summer.”
“Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home,” according to TMZ.
A source also noted that “all the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman.”
“Let’s just say Nicole doesn’t dispute that,” the insider added, “but she’s still shocked over it.”
Despite Fisher being left in the dark, an insider told People that the pair’s split wasn’t a secret to Kidman and Urban’s inner circle.
