Isla Fisher delivered a scathing take on marriage after finalizing her and Sacha Baron Cohen’s divorce.
The actress, 49, shared a quote to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday alleging “80 percent of women are against marriage.”
The social media upload read, “For all those men who say, ‘Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?’ Here’s an update for you.”
The statement claimed that women’s opposition to tying the knot comes from “realiz[ing] it’s not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.”
Fisher, notably, got married in March 2010 after six years engaged to Cohen.
She and the actor, 53, met nearly a decade prior at a party in Sydney.
“She was hilarious,” the “Borat” star told the New York Times in 2020. “Me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.”
After their Paris nuptials, the duo went on to welcome daughter Olive, 17, daughter Elula, 14, and son Montgomery, 10, during their time together.
The former couple jointly revealed their breakup via Instagram in April 2024 after filing for divorce the previous year.
“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage,” Fisher and Cohen wrote at the time. “We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children,” the “Spyz” co-stars concluded. “We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”
Their $75 million divorce was finalized last month, with the exes similarly sharing social media statements.
“We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children,” the “Grimsby” co-stars told their followers in June.
They did not divulge further details about their agreement.
Last week, Fisher poked fun at headlines about her and Cohen “narrowly” avoiding a run-in at Wimbledon by sarcastically asking, “Hang on? Who’s watching the kids?”
