Rex Splode will be a playable character in three-versus-three tag fighting game Invincible VS, publisher Skybound Games and developer Quarter Up announced.

A former member of the Teen Team and the Guardians of the Globe, Rex is known for his explosive powers and his talent for annoying everyone around him. In Invincible VS, Rex’s mobility, combat skills and exploding projectiles will give players the flexibility to keep opponents at a distance while waiting for combo openings or charging right at them from a low / overhead mixup. His explosives can be delayed to set traps or detonated instantly to extend combos and ramp up pressure.
Invincible VS is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2026
