I think Treasury may be in for a shock this month

I just set up my 3Q estimated tax payments.  Because of the OBBB, my September payment will be about $2,000 less than my Q1 and Q2 amounts.  I wonder how many other people, especially seniors, will find the same?  And I wonder if Treasury is expecting that?  I’m sure we’ll hear “but who could have predicted that?”
