Imagine heading out to celebrate the release of Taylor Swift’s new album by attending The Official Release Party of a Showgirl at the cinema—and looking up to find none other than Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, dancing in the crowd. On his own birthday, no less!
Apparently, Kelce spent his 36th birthday, October 5, supporting Swift in the most wholesome way possible—by stepping out to celebrate her new album. According to a photo making the rounds on social media, Kelce was joined by his mom Donna and his aunt and uncle. They reportedly caught the film at the Tinsel Town theater in Jacksonville ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ game in the city on Monday. “They stopped by Travis’s hotel to celebrate his birthday with him after the show,” a fan account adding.
Kelce sported the album colors, wearing a teal polo shirt and an orange cap, while his family carried orange feathered fans and wore teal feather boas.

It’s unclear whether or not Swift was also in Jacksonville to celebrate with Kelce, but she did give him a sweet shoutout one day after his birthday. The singer shared a post on Instagram that featured bhind-the-scenes clips from her new “Fate of Ophelia” music video—specifically, one moment that alludes to Kelce: “Pledge allegiance to your 👐 your 🏈 your viiiiiiiibes,” she wrote in the caption. She also nods to Kelce in the video, catching a football while singing those lines.
“The Fate of Ophelia” isn’t the only song that references her relationship to the Chiefs tight end. In “Wi$h Li$t,” Swift alludes about her plans for their future, singing, “I just want you, huh / Have a couple kids, got the whole block looking like you / We tell the world to leave us thе fuck alone, and they do, wow / Got me drеaming ’bout a driveway with a basketball hoop.”

Meanwhile, in her song “Wood,” she alludes to the NSFW side of their relationship, singing, “The curse on me was broken by your magic wand / Seems to be that you and me, we make our own luck / New Heights of manhood / I ain’t gotta knock on wood.”
I can only imagine what it was like for Kelce to listen to that song alongside his mom, aunt, uncle, and a whole bunch of Swifties!
