Heidi Klum is in her Little Mermaid era. After all, why wear a bikini top when you can wear seashells? In a new Instagram post, the model stood on the beach by some rocks wearing a pair of funky multi-patterned bikini bottoms. Instead of a matching top, she wore nothing but a layered seashell necklace. She held the shells strategically over her chest—although one fell slightly out of place, and she added a star emoji to cover herself up.
“Woopsy😅,” she wrote in reference to the seashell that had come out of place. She then added simply, “St.Barth 🏝️🥥🐠💦☀️.”
She also tagged Bijoux de la Mer, the jewelry brand that apparently designed her intricate pearl and shell layered necklace.

This is far from the first time that Klum has opted to go topless on the beach or by the pool. Earlier this summer, she shared a video of herself floating in the ocean in nothing but some red bikini bottoms. In another recent post, she posed topless on the beach. Then there was the time she showed off a number of bikinis on Instagram and included a video of herself dancing topless. She’s even gone topless in the city, going sans top with a pair of overalls.

For Klum, being topless is no big deal. “I’ve always been very open with my body. When I’m suntanning in the backyard, I might not have a top on,” she said to People recently, adding that her kids are used to it. “I’m European …my kids don’t know me any other way and are probably more easygoing with their bodies because of it.”
In another interview, Klum told People that it was “strategic.” “I’m super comfortable naked today… As soon as someone is coming, I put my top on. But if no one is there, sun’s out, bums out. I just don’t like tan lines because I wear so many different outfits. I don’t want to have straps anywhere from tan lines. It’s very strategic.”
