Major League Baseball announced the Gold Glove winners for the 2025 season Sunday.
The Chicago Cubs boast an MLB-best three recipients, while the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, and San Francisco Giants each had two.

American League
Catcher
Winner: Dillon Dingler (DET)
Nominees: Carlos Narváez (BOS), Alejandro Kirk (TOR)
Dingler is a Gold Glover in his rookie season after finishing in the 95th percentile for blocks above average, 91st in framing, and 85th in caught stealing above average.
First base
Winner: Ty France (MIN/TOR)
Nominees: Carlos Santana (CLE), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (TOR)
France picks up the first Gold Glove of his seven-year career. He accrued nine defensive runs saved and finished in the 96th percentile for outs above average.
Second base
Winner: Marcus Semien (TEX)
Nominees: Andrés Giménez (TOR), Luis Rengifo (LAA)
Semien won his second Gold Glove and first since 2021. His five defensive runs saved were second only to Giménez (nine) among AL second baseman.
Third base
Winner: Maikel Garcia (KC)
Nominees: Ernie Clement (TOR), José Ramírez (CLE)
Garcia is a first time winner after amassing 13 defensive runs saved. He was in the 98th percentile for outs above average and 79th in arm strength at the hot corner.
Shortstop
Winner: Bobby Witt Jr. (KC)
Nominees: Taylor Walls (TB), Corey Seager (TEX)
Witt finished in the 100th percentile for outs above average to collect his second straight honor. The 25-year-old superstar and Garcia are the first teammates to win at short and third in the same year since 2013.
Left field
Winner: Steven Kwan (CLE)
Nominees: Wyatt Langford (TEX), Tyler Soderstrom (ATH)
Kwan has won a Gold Glove in four straight seasons to begin his career. The 28-year-old was in the 100th percentile for arm strength and 90th in outs above average in 2025. He also led baseball with 22 defensive runs saved.
Center field
Winner: Ceddanne Rafaela (BOS)
Nominees: Kyle Isbel (KC), Julio Rodríguez (SEA)
Rafaela collects his first Gold Glove at age 24 after leading all MLB center fielders with 20 defensive runs saved. He finished in the 99th percentile in outs above average, 97th in arm strength, and 86th in arm value.
Right field
Winner: Wilyer Abreu (BOS)
Nominees: Adolis García (TEX), Cam Smith (HOU)
Abreu takes home his second consecutive honor courtesy of 15 defensive runs saved this season. The 26-year-old was in the 97th percentile for arm strength, 94th in outs above average, and 77th for arm value.
Utility
Winner: Mauricio Dubón (HOU)
Nominees: Ernie Clement (TOR), Daniel Schneemann (CLE)
Dubón wins his second consecutive Gold Glove following a year in which he placed in the 99th percentile in outs above average and 87th in arm strength. He started at every position except for catcher and pitcher.
Pitcher
Winner: Max Fried (NYY)
Nominees: Luis Severino (ATH), Jacob deGrom (TEX)
Fried earns his first Gold Glove with the Yankees after collecting three straight with the Braves between 2020 and 2022. He led AL pitchers with 10 defensive runs saved this season.
National League
Catcher
Winner: Patrick Bailey (SF)
Nominees: Luis Torrens (NYM), Carson Kelly (CHC)
Bailey wins his second straight Gold Glove to become the first Giants catcher with multiple defensive awards. The 26-year-old finished in the 100th percentile in framing, 99th in pop time, 97th in caught stealing above average, and 80th in blocks above average during a stellar campaign behind the plate.
First base
Winner: Matt Olson (ATL)
Nominees: Spencer Steer (CIN), Bryce Harper (PHI)
Olson received his first Gold Glove since 2019 and third overall after 17 defensive runs saved. He was also in the 95th percentile in outs above average.
Second base
Winner: Nico Hoerner (CHC)
Nominees: Xavier Edwards (MIA), Brice Turang (MIL)
Hoerner is now a two-time Gold Glove recipients thanks to 17 defensive runs saved this year. He finished in the 98 percentile in outs above average.
Third base
Winner: Ke’Bryan Hayes (PIT/CIN)
Nominees: Matt Shaw (CHC), Ryan McMahon (COL/NYY)
Hayes adds a second Gold Glove by finishing in the 99th percentile for outs above average with 19 defensive runs saved.
Shortstop
Winner: Masyn Winn (STL)

Winn becomes the youngest Gold Glover in Cardinals history after recording just three errors in 129 games. The 23-year-old finished in the 100th percentile for outs above average and 88th in arm strength.
Left field
Winner: Ian Happ (CHC)
Nominees: Tommy Pham (PIT), Kyle Stowers (MIA)
Happ collects his fourth straight honor thanks to nine defensive runs saved during the 2025 season.
Center field
Winner: Pete Crow-Armstrong (CHC)
Nominees: Jacob Young (WAS), Victor Scott II (STL)
Crow-Armstrong receives the first Gold Glove of his career. The 23-year-old was in the 100th percentile in outs above average, 94th in arm strength, and 89th in arm value this season.
Right field
Winner: Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD)
Nominees: Sal Frelick (MIL), Corbin Carroll (ARI)
Tatis led all right fielders with 15 defensive runs saved en route to his second straight award. His incredible arm was a big reason, as he was in the 99th percentile for arm strength.
Utility
Winner: Javier Sanoja (MIA)
Nominees: Miguel Rojas (LAD), Jared Triolo (PIT)
Sanoja put together a Gold Glove-winning rookie campaign at age 22. He started at five different positions across the outfield and infield to become the second freshmen in team history to earn the award.
Pitcher
Winner: Logan Webb (SF)
Nominees: David Peterson (NYM), Matthew Boyd (CHC)
Webb wins his first Gold Glove with seven defensive runs saved. The 28-year-old and Bailey are the first teammates at pitcher and catcher to accomplish the feat in the same season since 2013.
