We absolutely love watching sweet little Scarlett Spears playing Donna in Port Charles and now fans of the General Hospital actress will have a new avenue to see her showcasing her talent — and the feature stars one of Hollywood’s biggest acts.
Spears will be playing a young Galinda in the Ariana Grande sequel Wicked: For Good. The musical fantasy film, which follows 2024’s Wicked, will be released on November 25 and will pick up years after the events of the first film. Viewers will watch as the relationship between Elphaba Thropp, Wicked Witch of the West, and Galinda Upland, Glinda the Good, is put to the test through various events that will change the Land of Oz forever. Oh, and did we mention, there will be a surprise visit from Kansas’ Dorothy Gale.
Of Spears, and their character, Grande expressed, “My tiny girl in the bubble, played by the wonderful and talented Scarlett Spears, thank you for your beautiful work and for allowing the world to understand our Galinda more deeply than ever before. I adore you so,” to which Spears’ family replied, “We love you so much Ariana Grande — what an honor it is to be part of your world. We love you, endlessly. Thank you for making this little girl’s dream come true.”
