If you’re interested in Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch 8 but need the price to be a tiny bit lower, you can score $150 off with our special links and the trade-in of any smartwatch, so long as it turns on.
During its pre-order period (through July 25), Samsung has two stackable offers that can let you score a discount of up to $150 off the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, or Watch Ultra (2025).
The first is a trade-in deal, where the trade of “any smartwatch” will get you at least $100 towards your new watch. Samsung lists “any condition” here, but that’s misleading as the company still asks that the device “turns on” and is “free of cracks.” But, as long as it works, it doesn’t matter which brand or which smartwatch you’re trading in, as Samsung says they’ll give you $100 for it.
This is definitely true for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, though Samsung also says you’ll only get $50 specifically for the Gear S3 or Gear Fit 2 – if you run these trades on those two products or a broken watch, let us know in the comments how the process turns out.

You can save more with select watch trades, with select Apple Watches worth up to $200, and select Galaxy Watch models up to $250. For example, moving from Galaxy Watch 6 Classic to Galaxy Watch 8 Classic earns a $250 trade-in credit.
Meanwhile, you can stack the trade-in with a $50 discount that comes by simply using 9to5Google’s links to Samsung’s store. As long as you check out within 30 minutes, you’ll get that $50 taken off of your order.
The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic are available for pre-order now and shipping on July 25, the same date as Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.
