Samsung is making a big change to its Galaxy S lineup starting next year. Rumors claim that the Galaxy S25 will make way for the Galaxy S26 Pro, while the Galaxy S26 Edge will replace the Galaxy S25+. Even the Galaxy S26 Ultra is getting some changes, including minor changes to its display.
Galaxy S26 Ultra could have a slightly bigger display
According to tipster @UniverseIce, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is 163.4mm tall and 77.9mm wide, and that makes it 0.6mm taller and 0.3mm wider than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. They also posted an image in which the bezels around the screens of both phones appear similarly thin. So, we think the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature a slightly bigger display.

Since the Galaxy S25 Ultra already has a 6.9-inch display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s bigger screen could measure 7 inches diagonally. The display also appears to have more rounded corners than those on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and is similar to what we saw on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Its more rounded corners could make the phone more comfortable to hold. A previous report also claimed the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s screen could have AI-powered privacy protection.

If this information is accurate, those who like the classic Galaxy Note design with boxy corners will likely hate the new design, while those who liked the classic Galaxy S design with a more comfortable in-hand feel could like Samsung’s new direction with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Previous reports have claimed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP super telephoto camera (5x optical zoom), and a 12MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom). On the front, it could continue to use a 12MP camera. It has a 5,000mAh battery and reportedly has 60W fast charging.
