It isn’t exactly a surprise that Samsung’s next device is appearing online in leaks just two days before launch, but it’s happening anyway. A new Galaxy S25 FE leak showcases the device in real-world images, and screenshots detail which Galaxy AI features we should expect at launch.
The biggest question surrounding Galaxy FE models is, “What is Samsung going to cut out to justify cost?” Fortunately, the answer is generally limited. Samsung’s Galaxy FE devices carry much of the same features that flagship models do, and most are hoping that the Galaxy S25 FE will stick to that trend.
Hands-on images of the Galaxy S25 FE have officially appeared online, and what they don’t show off speaks volumes. The device looks almost identical to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, with the major standout being the silver trim around the camera lenses. The front of the device barely gives off anything, either. The front bezels look slightly larger than what’s seen on the Galaxy S25 and S25+, but not by much.
According to the leaker, the device feels “powerful,” though that could mean anything. We’re expecting a responsive device that doesn’t fall too short of the flagship Galaxy S25. It’s supposed to equip an Exynos 2400 SoC and a 4,900mAh battery. On the power side, it won’t be as powerful as the leading trio, but it should be more capable than the previous model.
The leak author also noted that the Galaxy S25 FE seems to carry many of the same Galaxy AI features seen on the devices powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. That includes Interpreter and Now Brief, which recently expanded to the Galaxy S24 in the One UI 8 beta.
None of this can be confirmed, though, and we’ll need to wait until Samsung’s next Unpacked event to see what the Galaxy S24 FE officially has in store. The event will be held on September 4, according to a recent teaser showcasing the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy S25 FE.
