We’re still waiting for the eventual launch of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE, perhaps timed perfectly with those rumored Galaxy Tab S11 tablets. But if you just can’t wait for an early reveal, one Portuguese retailer accidentally published a full specs sheet earlier than expected.
As spotted by Nieuwe Mobile, MediaMarkt — a consumer electronics store in Portugal — mistakenly uploaded an entire product page for the Galaxy S25 FE, despite a launch from Samsung being nowhere in sight. While the page has since been taken offline, that didn’t stop publications from capturing the specs table before it disappeared, giving us a near-complete look at what the Galaxy S25 FE might offer when it arrives in the coming weeks.
The majority of these specs aren’t brand new, but it’s nice to get a full picture of this year’s FE entry a little early, especially if you’re weighing other options like Google’s new Pixel 10. After a couple of lackluster upgrade cycles, the Galaxy S25 FE actually seems fairly promising — on paper, at least. While Samsung’s sticking with plenty of what worked on last year’s device, including its 6.7-inch 1080p 120Hz display, 8GB of RAM, and a near-identical chipset, it seems like a surprisingly packed year-over-year upgrade.
Really, it all starts with the design. While every leaked render of the Galaxy S25 FE has appeared to resemble any Samsung device of your choosing, this specs sheet paints a much brighter picture. In addition to those slimmed bezels around the display — which take half a millimeter off the width and nearly a full millimeter off its height — the S25 FE is both lighter and thinner, measuring just 7.4mm thick and weighing in at just 190 grams. That’s a huge improvement over last year’s 213g, 8mm-thick device; even in my limited time using it, that phone felt pretty chunky and heavy compared to its more premium counterparts.
Under the hood, you’ll find an Exynos 2400 SoC powering everything. That’s a small step up in clock speed from the Exynos 2400e found in last year’s model, but otherwise, it’s effectively the same chip. Samsung’s kept last year’s camera trio seemingly unchanged as well: 50MP f/1.8 main, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and 8MP f/2.4 3x telephoto. At the very least, the front-facing camera gets a resolution bump, up to a 12MP sensor compared to last year’s 10MP. Nothing particularly excited, nothing particularly rage-worthy.
The good news, however, comes from the battery. Despite rumors that the refreshed chassis would come at the sacrifice of overall capacity, these leaked specs show the opposite: a 4,900mAh battery, up from the 4,700mAh cell in last year’s phone.
As usual, the real test with the Galaxy S25 FE comes from its price tag. MediaMarkt initially displayed a €789.99 price tag, but considering that translates to around $920, that seems more like a placeholder than concrete evidence. We don’t know an official launch date for Samsung’s next budget flagship, but considering its usual September time for an announcement, we shouldn’t be waiting that much longer.
