Dominik Mysterio used dirty tactics to retain his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles on the September 1st edition of Raw. However, it seems their feud isn’t necessarily over just yet.
According to a report by PWInsider, the feud between Dominik Mysterio and AJ Styles isn’t over yet. Backstage at this week’s Monday Night Raw, it was noted that their feud will carry on at Worlds Collide, which suggests Styles will be part of the event in some way.
The two have been locked in a heated storyline for months, with Styles constantly clashing with The Judgment Day. Their battles led to an Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam, where Mysterio retained his title.
Since then, they’ve continued to cross paths on Raw. On the September 1st episode, Mysterio successfully defended the belt after El Grande Americano interfered and attacked AJ Styles.
With AAA Worlds Collide set for September 12, where Mysterio is scheduled to challenge El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship, all signs point to Styles getting involved and keeping their feud alive. So we’ll have to see how the feud will continue to be booked in the coming weeks.
