According to the site and its sources, Forza Horizon 6 will be revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Not only is TGS just weeks away at this point (taking place September 25-28), but it’d also be a very different backdrop for a new Forza game to be announced – a backdrop distinctly aimed at the Japanese market.
“Windows Central has more to add to the story, thanks to our sources.
We’ve seen official, widely circulated documents strongly suggesting that Forza Horizon 6 is actually planned to be announced during 2025’s Tokyo Game Show, an annual gaming-focused conference kicking off in Japan toward the end of September.”
Typically, new Forza games are announced during Microsoft’s annual Xbox Games Showcase conferences; Horizon 4 was revealed in June 2018, Motorsport in July 2020, Horizon 5 in June 2021, etc. Unveiling the next Forza Horizon game at Tokyo Game Show would be a massive change of pace for the team, and we’d hazard a guess that the game’s location would play a huge part in this decision.
That’s if this move turns out to be true, of course. While Microsoft Japan has confirmed its attendance at TGS 2025 with an ‘Online Exhibition‘, we don’t know the exact details of this event yet – and if FH6 is set to be announced there, of course. In roughly a months’ time we’ll know for sure, and with Xbox looking like it has a stacked 2026 ahead of it, racing to pole position with an early Forza Horizon 6 announcement could be a great move for Team Green.
