The first match for WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025 has been officially announced during today’s September 1 episode of Raw.
Wrestlepalooza will take place on September 20 and will be the first WWE premium live event on ESPN as the partnership begins earlier than it was originally slated to.
A couple of weeks ago on WWE Raw, Women’s World Champion Naomi announced she was pregnant, and in the process, vacated her championship.
She was set to defend her title a week prior against IYO SKY, with Stephanie Vaquer planned to face the winner of Naomi vs SKY at Clash In Paris.
Last week, Raw General Adam Pearce told Vaquer that she was off Clash In Paris, but he would arrange a future title match for her.
That match was confirmed tonight on Raw, as Pearce announced the two women who were owed their title matches – Vaquer and SKY – will have a match against each other for the vacant title at Wrestlepalooza.
This is the first match confirmed for Wrestlepalooza, although there is a major expectation that John Cena vs Brock Lesnar will be added soon as well.
Another big match that seems to be planned is Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, with Randy Orton possibly also being involved.
