The Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls closed beta for the PlayStation 5 is now live. Previously, only a small selection of players received invitations to participate.
However, it would seem that the closed beta has extended invitations to additional players going into the second session period. As such, it’s recently been announced that the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls closed beta will feature one more session between the third and fourth sessions.
This extra period will take place from September 6, 2025 on 8:00 p.m. and last until 2:00 a.m. PDT. This is likely being done to make up for the fact that a lot of players missed out on the first session since plenty of invites went out after the fact.
To help prepare for the Marvel Tokon closed beta, the official social media account for the game has begun releasing move listings for the six playable characters. As of right now, only move listings for Iron Man, Dr. Doom and Storm are available online.
Iron Man is described to be the type of character that excels at mid-range battles. Storm is said to have the ability to “modify her skills” with her unique Tempest actions. Of course, it’s important to keep in mind that Storm is said to be the most difficult of the six characters to play right now.
Finally, there’s Dr. Doom who seems to have access to plenty of ranged options that allow him to dominate ranged interactions. We’ll likely see move listing releases for Captain America, Ms. Marvel and Star-Lord later throughout the beta period.
