Fallout Season 2 Trailer Takes Amazon Series To New Vegas

WARNING — This article (and accompanying trailer) contains Fallout Season 1 spoilers

To call Prime Video’s Fallout a runaway success would be an understatement. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner’s live-action take on Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG franchise only debuted on the streamer last April, but within a week Amazon had ordered a second season of adventures with vault dweller Lucy (Ella Purnell), Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and their fellow survivors, and before a single shot of Season 2 had even been shown to fans, Season 3 was given the green light. Now, as Gamescom gets underway out in Cologne, we’ve finally got a trailer for Fallout Season 2 — and we’re heading for the Mojave, gang! Check out the teaser below… New Vegas awaits;

Justin Theroux as nuke-dropping New Vegas ruler — and biggest of big-bads — Mr. House! Actual sighting of an actual Deathclaw! And there, front and centre, New Vegas itself! Yeah, we’re thinkin’ Fallout is back, folks. And after that cliffhanger of a Season 1 finale, it’s patently clear that the foot is definitely not coming off the gas with Season 2, which looks set to drop us right back into Lucy’s search for her father (Kyle MacLachlan), catch up with Aaron Moten’s AWOL Brotherhood of Steel soldier Maximus, and continue to dig deeper into Ghoul’s past life as Cooper Howard while he searches for his own family in the present. In other words, it’s all kicking off and we are very much here for it.

Also back for Season 2 are Moisés Arias as Lucy’s brother Norm, who discovered the secret of the Vaults at the end of the last series; Frances Turner’s Barb, aka the Ghoul’s ex-wife from his Cooper Howard days; and the aforementioned Kyle MacLachlan as Lucy’s armoured-up father Hank. We’ll find out what Fallout Season 2 has in store for them all when the end of the world continues on Prime Video on 17 December.
