It’s been a strange year for Xbox, it would be fair to say. Despite some absolutely fantastic releases (and more to come), the recent Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price hike has many considering just, you know, buying their games.
Thankfully, Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days are offering a bunch of discounts, including price drops of over 70%. Here are our favorites so far.
Xbox Prime Day Deals
We have to start with Sid Meier’s Civilization 7, which is seeing a staggering 81% discount, bringing it down to just $13.25. I’m still playing it regularly, and if you’re wondering about how it handles on console, fear not – it plays brilliantly on a gamepad.
One of the best games of 2024, Metaphor: ReFantazio, is down to just $15.96. That’s a 77% discount for the huge RPG, and elsewhere in SEGA’s lineup, you can snap up Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic Frontiers for $20.99 and $7.95, respectively.
There’s also a whopping 67% off of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chorbobyl, with the horror shooter down to just $19.96 less than a year from launch, while this year’s Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is just $44.99 after a 36% discount.
Dead Rising’s Deluxe Remaster gets a 60% price drop down to $20, while FromSoft’s open-world magnum opus, Elden Ring, is down to just $26.58.
Xbox Wireless Controller

Rounding out the game deals, you can get Split Fiction at half price, with the co-op adventure down to $24.98, while NBA 2K26 is $63.94 – almost 10% off the price it launched at last month.
You can also save on the Xbox Wireless Controller, with the pad down to $51.25. Considering it’s great on PC or console, that’s a solid price and marks a 21% discount from the MSRP (all things considered, as these are a lot more pricey than they used to me).
