Emma Stone rocks the shortest haircut she’s ever had in her new film Bugonia. A newly released trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest flick, set to Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!,” sees the famous redhead with a clean-shaven scalp.

Stone portrays a pharmaceutical CEO who gets abducted by conspiracy theorists in the forthcoming dark comedy.

Earlier this month, the Oscar winner told Vogue that there’s “no better feeling in the world” than being bald.

“The first shower when you’ve shaved your head? Oh my God, it’s amazing,” she said of the style she wears in Bugonia.

During production, Stone said she regretted not showing off her ultra-short hairdo in public. She later made headlines when she attended the Golden Globes with a pixie cut—her first in years.

“I was bummed I wasn’t going out with it,” Stone explained. “Just straight-up bald. I think that would have been fun.”

Stone’s co-star Jesse Plemons was tasked with shearing her locks during a scene.

“It was like, ‘Here we go—Emily has shaved her head,’ ” Plemons told Vogue. “We better make this good!”

Also interviewed for the piece was Stone’s close friend and fellow Oscar winner, Jennifer Lawrence, who was initially hesitant about the La La Land star’s drastic transformation.

“I really didn’t want her to shave her head. I had already lived through the Billie Jean King haircut,” Lawrence said, referencing Stone’s role in 2017’s Battle of the Sexes.

The bald style—pun intended—grew on Lawrence once she saw it: “Honestly, [Emma] looked beautiful,” the Mother! actress shared. “She pulled it off.”
