Eminem’s daughter Alaina Scott is hitting back after receiving negative comments about her body after she announced her pregnancy news.
The 32-year-old daughter of the rapper shared a series of photos on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Oct. 21, after she came across a picture of herself on another Instagram account.
The account had reshared a picture of her after the gym and included a caption that said something about her “since posting about her ‘pregnancy news.'” However, Alaina noted that all the comments on the post were about her body size.
“A random photo of me was taken in this outfit while leaving somewhere and posted online,” Alaina said over a photo of herself in red leopard-print leggings and a grey T-shirt. “Normally I seriously do not care about negative comments. However, the caption to said photo read since posting about her ‘pregnancy news.’ Yet the comments talk about my body size.”

“1. I was just leaving a workout class so maybe don’t assume thing,” she continued. “2. I am pregnant and literally growing a child. They’re going to hate to see me at 9 months.”
She went on to say that women get criticized no matter what they say or do, even if that’s taking Ozempic, moving their body or doing too much of something.
“Damned if we do, damned if we don’t,” wrote the mom-to-be. “You’re beautiful no matter what your size is. You are not defined by your weight. You are allowed to gain weight while pregnant and you don’t have to bounce back in any timeline.”
“Also if you want the surgery, the shot, whatever to improve your appearance then go off sis, im [sic] not here to shame you,” she said, adding “This is your PSA to stop commenting on women’s bodies or any body for that matter.”

Alaina added a second photo to her Stories and said that since this is her first pregnancy and she doesn’t know what to expect, her body changing is already difficult. She said that the last thing anyone needs to hear is body shaming.
“I actually feel good with my body right now,” Alaina said. “I’m grateful to be able to move my body. Eating when I’m hungry. Giving in to cravings. Resting when I need rest.”
“If you’re pregnant and not working out that’s okay too,” she continued. “Give yourself permission to do whatever it is you feel you want to do. Let go of any expectations and give yourself grace. We’re all just doing the best we can.”
Alaina announced she is pregnant with her first baby with husband Matt Moeller earlier this month on Instagram. “THE BEST OF YOU + ME,” she sweetly wrote in her caption. “For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way.”
“There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear,” she continued. “I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing.”
Alaina concluded, “Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one🤍.”
