Emily Ratajkowski has sparked romance with several famous men over the years, especially after her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard. She’s been linked to Harry Styles and Pete Davidson, and now… Austin Butler?!
While this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of romance rumors between the two, but this time, the rumors are spreading like crazy after TMZ snapped some photos of them looking rather cozy. On Sept 5, the pair were seen getting drinks at The Waverly Inn, with Butler’s arm around her.

Like we said, this isn’t the first time the pair have sparked romance rumors (but this is the most concrete proof that something may be happening between the two)! A couple of weeks ago, Matt Weinberger snapped pics from the Caught Stealing after-party, and the pair were spotted again. (Peep slide six!)
Back in Jan 2025, an anonymous source first linked the two together to DeuxMoi, claiming via DailyMail, “I have heard Austin Butler and Emrata are hooking up. She followed him on Instagram.” But nothing more came out of those theories, until now!

So, not only is she sparking romance rumors with him again, but there’s something else: Ratajkowski is pals with two of Butler’s exes: Kaia Gerber and Vanessa Hudgens. Along with Ratajkowski, following both on Instagram, she’s friendly with them. For instance, Gerber praised Ratajkowski as an inspiration to young women during a talk about her book club, and as for Hudgens, they’ve hung out quite a few times over the years, especially at celebrity events.
Gerber dated Butler from 2021 to 2024, and he also dated Hudgens for 10 years. (And this isn’t the first time something like this has happened because Ratajkowski publicly made out with Styles soon after he split up from her pal Olivia Wilde.)
