BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A dust and wind storm swept through Bakersfield Tuesday afternoon.
Cameras from outside the Eyewitness News studios show dust bringing low visibility on Highway 99 in central Bakersfield.
An Eyewitness News crew was on Highway 178 near the City of the Hills. Wind was blowing trees, with one being damaged.
According to the CHP’s website, a tree is blocking the northbound lanes of South Union Avenue near Buena Vista Boulevard.
The website also said there is a large tree across all lanes on South Union Avenue near Bear Mountain Boulevard.
