SALT LAKE CITY – Donovan Mitchell announced his engagement to singer Coco Jones on his social media pages.
The former Utah Jazz guard revealed that the two were dating earlier this year.

Donovan Mitchell Engaged To Coco Jones
Mitchell shared a photo of the couple on his Instagram page, along with an aerial video of him getting down on one knee to propose to the pop star.
The two were first rumored to be dating late last year when they were seen together at an Usher concert.

Mitchell is in the midst of the best stretch of his career, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 64-18 record, the best in the Eastern Conference.
The Cavaliers were eliminated by the eventual Eastern Conference Champion Indiana Pacers in the conference semi-finals.
Since being traded to Cleveland, Mitchell has been named to three All-Star teams and back-to-back All-NBA teams.

Mitchell’s new fiancé broke into show business as a child performer on Disney’s “Let It Shine.”
Jones won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance in 2024 for the song “ICU.”

Her father is longtime NFL defensive end Mike Jones.
Jones was born in South Carolina.
Mitchell’s Career in Utah
In five seasons with the Jazz, Mitchell averaged 23.9 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.2 rebounds, leading the roster to the postseason each year.
The guard was named to three All-Star teams as a member of the Jazz, won the Slam Dunk Contest as a rookie, and became an important voice within the community.
Mitchell’s charitable work during his time in Utah was astounding, including his eye-opening $12 million donation to the Greenwich Country Day School.
The guard was named the NBA Cares Community Assist Award winner for the 2020 offseason because of his numerous charitable donations during his time in Utah.
Over five seasons in Utah, Mitchell ranks among the Jazz’s top 10 all-time leaders in field goals (eighth), three-pointers (second), points (eighth), points per game (fourth), minutes per game (ninth), assists per game (eighth), and steals per game.
