Dominik Mysterio was inches away from winning the AAA Mega Title at Triplemanía XXXIII but AJ Styles cost him the match. Following the end of the show, Mysterio has now confirmed his status for WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.
While speaking in an interview, Dominik Mysterio expressed his frustration after being chased all the way to Mexico City by AJ Styles. He made it clear that he believed Vikingo should not have won the match and insisted that he should be the new AAA Mega Champion.
“The truth is, I am very angry that this old man came to chase me all the way to Mexico City. Obviously, Vikingo should not have won — I should be your new AAA Mega Champion.”
Despite his anger, he promised that he would see Vikingo at Worlds Collide. When asked if he would be there, Dominik Mysterio confirmed his appearance and stated that the AAA Mega Championship belongs to him, once again sending a warning to Vikingo ahead of his appearance.
“Of course. As I said, that Mega Championship belongs to me. Vikingo, see you at Worlds Collide.”
The WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event will be taking place on Friday, September 12, 2025, at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center. With less than a month left for the event, we’ll have to see how WWE and AAA will book Dominik Mysterio and Vikingo’s feud till then.
