We might have another entry into the “pop stars dating football players” canon. On Sunday, Madison Beer and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert were seen together in L.A., where Beer was apparently filming a music video. In photos published by “Page Six,” Beer appeared to introduce Herbert to crew members on the video’s set. After filming wrapped, Beer reportedly left in Herbert’s car.
It’s not clear how Beer and Herbert first became acquainted, and neither has said anything publicly about whether they’re dating. They’re also not following each other on Instagram, but internet sleuths recently noticed Beer has been liking posts about Herbert on the Chargers’ Instagram account. (Beer did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Cut.)
Until recently, Beer had been in a five-year on-and-off relationship with former Hype House member Nick Austin, whom she began dating in 2020 and reportedly split from sometime last spring. Beer previously dated the DJ and producer Zack Bia, the singer Jack Gilinsky, and Brooklyn Beckham. If recent events are any indication, the jock-singer dynamic can be a winning combination — or, at least, a great opportunity to make it onto the Jumbotron.
