Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed WR Jameson Williams to a contract extension through the 2029 season. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Williams enters his fourth season with the Lions in 2025 coming off a career-best 1,000-yard campaign last season. In 2024, he recorded 58 receptions for 1,001 yards (17.3 avg.) and seven touchdowns alongside 11 rushes for 61 yards (5.5 avg.) and one touchdown.
In three seasons with the Lions, Williams has caught 83 passes for 1,396 yards (16.8 avg.) and 10 touchdowns. He has also added 15 rushes for 130 yards (8.7 avg.) and two touchdowns, totaling 1,526 scrimmage yards and 12 scrimmage touchdowns. Williams originally came to Detroit as a first-round draft selection (12th overall) by the Lions in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
