Daughter of dead rock legend slams WWE star for tasteless joke about father’s death

The daughter of a rock and roll icon called out WWE and one of its wrestlers after someone made a joke about her father’s death during a match.

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of recently deceased rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to blast wrestler Becky Lynch after a joke she made Monday night.

During WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” event in Birmingham, England, Lynch brought up the former Black Sabbath frontman as she was challenged to a fight by another wrester.

“I am not wrestling in Birmingham,” Lynch said. “The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago.”

The audience gasped seemingly in unison after the comment was made.

“But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too,” Lynch continued.

Kelly Osbourne, 40, took to Instagram Monday to rip the wrestler for her insensitive remarks.

“©beckylynch.fan11 you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. #birminghamforever shame on the @wwe for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!” Osbourne wrote.

Ozzy Osbourne died July 22 from a heart attack at the age of 76. The rock pioneer was laid to rest near the lake of his home in Buckinghamshire, England on July 31 during a private ceremony which included members of his family, friends and fellow musicians.
