Darren Till badly beat up Luke Rockhold in their highly anticipated boxing match between former UFC fighters.

In the main event of Misfits Boxing 22 on Saturday, Till knocked Rockhold down several times in the first couple of rounds before brutally knocking Rockhold unconscious in the third round to improve to 3-o in the promotion.

Check out the finish below.

Rockhold started off strong, landing some good shots and was in full control of the opening round. With the final seconds ticking away, Till badly stung Rockhold with a left hand, before sending the former UFC and Strikeforce champ crashing to the canvas. Rockhold was able to make the count, but after the bell for the round rang, he went to the wrong corner.

Smelling blood, Till came out in Round 2 looking for the big shot to end the fight. Till let his foe of the hook and slowed things down a bit. At the minute mark, Till floored Rockhold again, but the referee missed him hit the mat and Till continued to pour it on. Finally, the referee gave Rockhold some separation. At this point, Rockhold had been badly hurt several times, and the referee, or more so, Rockhold’s corner should’ve stopped the action.

They did not, and that led to the ultra-violent finish from Till, who also defeated Darren Stewart and Anthony Taylor in the Misfits squared circle. After the win, Till called for a fight with Carl Froch.
