Dakota Johnson Shares Her Biggest Red Flag

Dakota Johnson is single and ready to mingle, but there’s one dealbreaker she won’t tolerate in future prospects.

The “50 Shades of Grey” actor, who recently split from her longtime love, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, laid out her biggest red flag in a video Q&A with Vogue Germany, shared on Tuesday.

“Men who wear flip-flops in public. Run,” Johnson said in her characteristically blunt manner.

Johnson previously revealed another dating nonnegotiable earlier this summer when doing press for her movie “Materialists,” in which she plays a matchmaker.

“Like, not an asshole?” the 36-year-old said during an early morning appearance on the “Today” show, as host Craig Melvin appeared slightly shocked at Johnson’s answer.

“That’s concise!” Johnson’s co-star Chris Evans joked. “There it is. Nail on the head.”

“Nail on the head,” Melvin agreed. “And we’re actually going to probably have to clean that up for the West Coast feed. That’s OK.”

Johnson and Martin split in June of this year. The two have been on and off since 2017, though this might be their last breakup.

“It feels final this time,” a source shared with People magazine.

Neither the actor nor the musician has been linked to anyone following their split.

Though in a conversation with Deadline about filming the movie “Materialists,” Johnson said that she learned through conversations with the movie’s director, Celine Song, that “dating sucks.”

“I don’t have personal experience, but I know from friends of mine that trying to find your person is just difficult,” she shared in July.

“It’s both beautiful and scary, and I think it makes every human question their worth, which is sad,” Johnson said. “Some dating apps are incredible, and I know people that have gotten married and are so in love from them, and people who have been set up by friends or matchmakers. There’s no right or wrong answer to love.”
