PHILADELPHIA – The 133rd meeting all-time between the Eagles and Cowboys played out exactly like everyone thought it would. With an ejection before the first offensive snap, a lightning delay and even Dak Prescott laying out to make a potentially touchdown saving tackle.
In the end, it was the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles coming out on top with a 24 to 20 win over the Cowboys, who begin the Brian Schottenheimer era 0-1.
