It might be hard to know what you should do — or even what you want — due to some tension between the moon and sun in the morning, and then between the moon and Jupiter in the afternoon. In all likelihood, nothing is actually wrong, but you might feel stressed, insecure, or just a bit off balance. The best thing to do is embrace the uncertainty: Expecting that you’ll be able to get your whole life in order will only make you more irritable, so instead trust that you’ll figure it out as you go.

There are times when you appreciate the structure provided by your routines — but today, what you need most is probably some space to be flexible. It might be difficult to grant yourself permission to be spontaneous, though — you’re worried you’ll stray too far from the course, making major and irrevocable mistakes. So try to decide on one or two elements of your regimen that you know you won’t budge on. If you commit to a few essentials, you can have the freedom in the rest of your life to play around and experiment.

From the outside, it’s easy to get the impression that everyone else has life figured out, and that you’re the only one still struggling to find joy, purpose, or even a bit of stability. But today, remind yourself that just because other people’s lives seem perfect, that probably doesn’t align with reality. While they might not show it, everybody has doubts and inner conflicts, and everyone has made mistakes. There’s so much you’re not privy to going on beneath the surface, so try not to compare yourself.

The more unhappy or insecure you feel today, the more you’ll want to seem put together, pretending to the world that everything’s perfect in your life. But this strategy is unlikely to work — instead of making you come across as confident and self-possessed, you’ll only seem boastful. For now, at least, it’s probably better to be honest about your feelings, at least with the people you trust. You might worry that it doesn’t cast you in the best light, but if anything, they’ll appreciate your honesty.

Your emotions could bounce all over the place today, making it hard to determine what you really feel, and what’s just a passing mood. Your daily ebbs and flows are probably more intense than usual, and if you race to take action based on every tiny change in your inner state, you’ll only wear yourself out. So for now, do your best to track the overall trends, not the dramatic spikes: It’ll help you to save your energy for the things that actually matter.

You understand that it’s unrealistic to expect anyone to agree with you all the time, so in your close relationships, you try to focus on what you have in common, rather than dwelling on what are ultimately minor differences. Today, though, that might be difficult — maybe other people’s quirks are getting under your skin more than usual, or maybe you can sense that they’re annoyed with you, or maybe both. Do your best not to take your frustration too seriously — as long as you don’t escalate things, it’ll all blow over quickly.

As much as you’ve grown to accept yourself, you probably still have traits you’d like to change if you could. If you had the ability to wave a magic wand and make yourself braver or more interesting or less prone to worry, you’d do it in an instant. Today, you might feel particularly ashamed of your less-desirable traits, and it could be tempting to try to hide them — if you can’t actually be perfect, you can at least appear that way. But remember that others probably aren’t judging you nearly as hard; if your friends can take the bad along with the good, you can, too.

Sometimes, you imagine that you need to deal with all of your insecurities first, before you can start to make any big moves in life. Only once you’ve fixed your flaws, or at least learned to manage them, will you feel ready to start moving toward your goals. But today, consider that this mindset is holding you back. You’ll always have imperfections, and you’ll probably never reach a place of total self-love, but that doesn’t mean you need to wait around to start pursuing the life you want.

When you aren’t sure what you want out of life, it can be smart to avoid committing to one specific goal. There’s no point in agonizing over a “final” decision if you think you might just change your mind again. But today, don’t make it a priority to keep every possibility in play — holding all the doors open can be more work than it’s worth. Realistically, you don’t need to preserve every option; letting some opportunities go, at least for now, can help focus you on what you really want.

Healthy relationships don’t need to be precisely equal, all the time, but they should at least be reciprocal. You might have some days when you’re in the mood to talk about yourself, and others when you’d rather listen to others; sometimes you’re happy to support your friends, and other times you need them to step in and offer you help. Today, try to keep an eye on the overall balance: If you’re feeling neglected, or if you suspect you’ve been taking more than you’ve been giving, now is a good time to make up the difference.

In general, you try to keep a sense of perspective about your problems; you know that there are always people dealing with worse, so you try not to make a huge fuss when things don’t go your way. But sometimes, this means that you end up suppressing your feelings, letting them fester so long that you end up lashing out. Today, try not to let things get to that point. You don’t need to wait until your problems are unbearable before you’re allowed to express frustration or ask for help.

Today, it could be easy to look to others to solve the problems in your life. If you’re feeling bad about yourself, you want your friends to lift your spirits; if you’re bored, you want to join someone else’s adventures. But as valuable as community is, and as much as your loved ones appreciate you, there are still some things you have to do for yourself. So for now, stop waiting around for others to fix things, and turn your attention to what’s in your power to solve.

You try your best to be genuine, and you’d never intentionally pretend to be something you’re not. But you’re good at picking up on what people are looking for, and sometimes, without realizing you’re doing it, you change the way you act in front of others, putting on a performance that suits their preferences. This is only natural, but today, make an extra effort to show up as yourself. There’s no point being liked for an inauthentic version of yourself, so you might as well be honest from the jump.
