Cubs-Brewers make history in NLDS Game 2

The Cubs and Brewers wasted no time in making postseason history.

In the first inning of NLDS Game 2, the Cubs and Brewers became the first set of teams to each hit three-run homers in the first inning.

The Cubs struck first on right fielder Seiya Suzuki’s three-run shot, his second of the postseason to give the Cubs a 3-0 lead.

But their lead wouldn’t last past the half-inning, as former White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn answered with a three-run blast, his first of the postseason that sent American Family Field into a frenzy and set the Brewers on a path to a 7-3 victory.

The Cubs fell behind 2-0 in the best-of-five series.

Pride in the Brewers is at an all-time high.

Imanaga allowed two homers in Monday’s start.
