Country music star cancels show due to health issues: ‘I just can’t shake it’

Jelly Roll is overseas doing shows, but it looks like the country music star is going to have to take a rare break to get better.

The singer took to social media Friday to announce that he was cancelling a show to deal with illness.

“Dear Auckland I’ve done everything I can, I just can’t shake it,” he wrote on his Instagram stories. “It breaks my heart, I’ve probably missed 3 shows in the last decade. I pride myself on showing up no matter what. Just couldn’t do it this time. Please forgive me.”

It has been a rough week or so for Jelly Roll overseas.

All of this comes just days after he claimed he was not treated well during a shopping trip in Sydney.

“Hey man, the Louis Vuitton in Sydney legitimately just treated us like we were finna come in and rob that place,” he said in a video shared to Instagram. “I have never been look at more like a crim … Listen, the last time I was look at like a criminal this bad — I was an actual criminal this bad.”

It also comes as his wife, Bunnie Xo, recently opened up about their struggles with having a child via IVF while talking with Maury Povich during her “Dumb Blonde” podcast.”

“We went through the same stuff that you and Jelly Roll have gone through,” Povich told Bunnie per Taste of Country. “We tried to get pregnant. It became a big story that we were trying.”

Povich said he and Chung finally made the decision to adopt.

“It’s tough,” Bunnie said. “But at the same time, it’s like you just put it in God’s hands. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. And if not, we can always adopt.

“I’m totally open to adoption too, and so is my husband.”
