Conor McGregor is proud of his Dublin pub for standing tall.
On Friday, several Irish news sites, including Irish Independent, reported that McGregor’s Black Forge Inn had been damaged by a small fire, with gardaí investigating whether the property was the target of criminal activity.
No injuries were reported and the damage appeared to be minimal, much to the delight of McGregor, who later commented on the incident on social media (footage courtesy of Happy Punch):

“You wouldn’t get through it with a rocket launcher,” McGregor said. “Spotless. Up the Forge! Built different, baby.”
The former two-division UFC champion then took the opportunity to promote his Forged Irish Stout.
In the accompanying footage, fire and police authorities can be seen outside of McGregor’s pub extinguishing a flame as smoke rises from the property.
“Gardaí attended the scene of an incident of criminal damage at a licensed premises on the Drimnagh Road, Crumlin that occurred at approximately 3.00am,” Gardaí said in a statement, per Irish Independent. “The fire was extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade. Investigations are ongoing.”
This isn’t the first time the Black Forge Inn has been the target of a criminal attack. In 2022, the pub was targeted with petrol bombs, though the attackers failed to do any damage to the premises.
