Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 series launch event is a little over a month away. From what we know, the Mountain View, California-based tech giant will unveil its new flagship line on Wednesday, August 20, which is much sooner than Google’s regular October release timeline.
Devices we’re expecting to see at the event include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
From what we already know, the upcoming series will likely be priced similarly to its predecessors, with a mixed bag of upgrades, downgrades, and stagnation across the series’ camera systems. The base Pixel 10, for example, will finally boast a telephoto shooter, the Pixel 10 and 10 XL will likely remain unchanged, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will reportedly utilize a new Samsung GN8 main sensor.
With subsequent early leaks, we learned more about the upcoming lineup, but information about the highly anticipated Pixel 10 Pro Fold has still remained sparse. That was the case until earlier today. Now, courtesy of Android Headlines, we have a clear look at the upcoming foldable’s key specs and features.
Expect a bigger screen and a bigger battery

The report does not quote a direct source. For what it’s worth, it reiterates some information that we already know about, while also shedding light on potentially new spec leaks.
It highlights that the device will feature a bigger cover display, going up to 6.4 inches from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s 6.3-inch outer screen. We don’t have the device’s dimensions just yet, so it isn’t clear whether the extra inch was achieved by shrinking the upcoming foldable’s outer bezels or by expanding its overall footprint. Elsewhere, the cover display is expected to offer 3,000 nits of peak brightness, up from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s 2,700 nits peak.

The previously-reported IP68 rating has made its way to the spec leak too, paired with a larger 5,015mAh battery and 21W wired, 8W wireless charging. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold, for reference, features a 4,650mAh cell. The battery upgrade should mark a roughly 14 percent increase over Samsung’s latest (and greatest) Z Fold 7.
The upcoming foldable will reportedly be powered by the 3nm Tensor G5 processor with 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage variants.
