Commanders Vs. Cowboys (game one) – Studs and Duds

This entire game was ONE BIG DUD…

Washington AGAIN came out unprepared and played sloppy all afternoon. Dan Quinn’s squad was “called” for 11 penalties that resulted in 118 yards. Joe Whitt’s defense allowed a staggering 409 yards (6.6 yards per play). That same unit gave up 152 rushing yards. The secondary allowed Lamb and Pickens to combine for nine receptions, 192 yards and a touchdown. Jayden Daniels was not sharp, and he lost yet another fumble on a play he was injured on. His receivers dropped four passes. The offensive line allowed pressure all afternoon and failed to open up holes for Bill – who averaged just 2.5 yards per carry.

Overall, it was a game to forget – and yet again, it seems that Washington was another team’s “get right” game.

Below are my Studs and Duds of the game, followed by some notes.
