CM Punk was essentially screwed out at WWE Clash in Paris as he failed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title. With Monday Night Raw taking place today, his status for the show has been revealed.
The Second City Saint took to his Instagram story and uploaded several videos, revealing that he’s already backstage at RAW and signing merchandise for fans. Thus, he confirmed he’ll be at the show, while WWE hasn’t made any announcement about his appearance.
At Clash in Paris, CM Punk almost won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but Becky Lynch attacked Punk with a low blow and cost him the match, thus helping Rollins retain the title.
Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see whether the Second City Saint will confront Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch on the show and set up an angle. After all, we have also reported that the ending of Clash in Paris may have set the stage for AJ Lee’s return, as AJ Lee has been mentioned in several internal creative pitches.
