Public voting for the Golden Joystick Awards 2025’s most talked-about prize is now open.

The annual awards show takes place later this month, on the 20th November, and features public voting across a wide range of categories. But as alluded, ‘Ultimate Game of the Year’ is the big one.

12 titles have been nominated, and voters can choose up to three of them through the official page on GamesRadar. Said nominees are:

  • Silent Hill F
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
  • Hades 2
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
  • Split Fiction
  • Donkey Kong Bananza
  • Blue Prince
  • Hollow Knight: Silksong
  • Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
  • PEAK
  • Ghost of Yotei

Naturally, we should point out that two PS5 exclusives are on that list; both Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei received rave reviews, and they’re counted amongst the highest-rated titles of the year.

Still, it’s hard to envision a future where Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 doesn’t sweep Game of the Year awards across all of games media. The RPG destroyed expectations when it launched back in April, and it’s still being talked about and making headlines.

But again, this Ultimate Game of the Year award is public-voted, which means that any of the 12 titles can win with enough support.

Case in point, Black Myth: Wukong won last year’s award despite missing out on such success across other events and outlets.

So, which game gets your vote? Which game do you think will actually win? Place your bets in the comments section below.
