Clair Obcur: Expedition 33 was released in April as a relatively polished game. Yet, bug fixes and minor improvements are always welcome, and that’s what Wednesday’s patch 1.4.0 brings.
The Pictos menu received an improvement and will now display each ability’s Lumina cost, which will help when assigning the various Pictos to your party members. An autoplay dialogue option will help those camp conversations run more smoothly, while separate volume sliders will give you more control in adjusting the game’s volume.
Another notable change fixes a bug concerning Lune’s Thermal Transfer skill. It’ll “no longer grant an extra turn without meeting the Stain consumption requirements.” Because Lune’s Stain system can be confusing to learn, some players noted on Clair Obscur’s subreddit they didn’t realize this bug had been helping them throughout the game.
The patch includes a few more bug fixes, and ensures players will receive any trophies that were missing as a result of bugs. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fix the bug in which I get my ass handed to me by a certain someone every time I face him.
Quality of Life Improvements
The following two trophies should now pop for you when you load your save if you were effected by these bugs:
