Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. This past weekend, Chloë Grace Moretz gave the old wedding rhyme a whole new meaning when she broke tradition by wearing a stunning baby blue dress to her nuptials.
The Carrie star capped off the summer by marrying her one true love, model Kate Harrison. The two looked absolutely ethereal in custom Louis Vuitton dress by LV artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière.

Moretz was a vision in a pale blue gown that featured spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline, a figure-hugging silhouette, satin details throughout, and a trailing skirt. She paired the Old Hollywood number with matching opera gloves and a trailing veil.
The actress was beyond pleased with the masterpiece, taking to Instagram to share her gratitude. “Words can’t begin to express how this feels. Thank you @nicholasghesquiere @louisvuitton,” she penned in the caption. “Your generosity, artistry, dedication and kindness knows no bounds. We feel so incredibly grateful. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it, but, thank you. Your vision made our day all the more meaningful. x.”

“It just feels like me. It just feels like an extension of what I would have always hoped for,” Moretz told Vogue of her look, adding that she “never really envisioned a wedding dress in [her] mind growing up.”
“I knew immediately that I wanted to do something non-traditional…and have it feel different,” she continued. “And I think it really does.”
As for beauty, the Dark Shadows star wore her golden locks in a sleek side-parted bun and glammed up with rosy makeup.

For a second wedding look, Moretz rocked a monochromatic white ensemble. Up top, she wore a long-sleeve top with a plunging neckline, waist cutouts, tie detail, and delicate lace hem. She paired the shirt with tailored pants, a wide-brim hat, and silver pointed-toe heels.
Meanwhile, Harrison went the traditional route in a strapless white gown that featured a sweetheart neckline, form-fitting design, and subtle floral pattern, which she paired with a floor-length veil.
