Hersheypark’s wave pool on Thursday, where a 9-year-old girl died, was teeming with people trying to stay cool as temperatures rose into the 90s, according to an eyewitness who spoke with PennLive.
Kali Stiffler said she was in Hersheypark’s wave pool with her boyfriend and two children about an hour before first responders were called to the theme park.
