When you’re placing your order for your next Chick-fil-A meal, you’ve got another item to consider in addition to your regular or spicy sandwich, chicken strips, or chicken nuggets. An all-new Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich will be on menus beginning August 18.
Last spring, Chick-fil-A tested this sandwich in their Raleigh, North Carolina, restaurants, and the response was so tremendous, demand so high, they’re rolling out the sandwiches nationwide later this month.
The sandwich, you may realize when you see it, is unlike any other from the brand. That’s because it starts with a toasted, buttery pretzel bun, not the classic bun. Then, the sandwich is loaded up with lettuce, tomato, Cheddar cheese, bacon, and your preferred filet. Pick from original, spicy, or grilled. Lastly, the sandwich is served with a side of Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce for dipping.

“The Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich offers the perfect complement: it’s savory with layers of flavor that feel indulgent, yet distinctly Chick-fil-A,” said Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A, in a statement provided to Southern Living.
In addition to the new sandwich, you’ll also be able to select a new side: Waffle Potato Fries. Two flavors—Original and Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Chips—will also hit menus along with the new sandwich. Chick-fil-A announced the chips are a permanent addition to the menu, but it’s unclear how long the sandwich will be available. If you want to try it, make a note on your calendar for August 18, when the fall menu will officially roll out.
