Channing Tatum gave a “surprisingly candid” quote about his split from ex wife Jenna Dewan and being apart from their daughter, Everly, 12.
If you were unaware, the exes finalized her separation back in September 2024. It came six years after they initially split and amid a battle over Channing‘s earnings from the Magic Mike franchise.
Channing was asked about playing a character who is separated from his daughter in his new movie, Roofman.

Channing told Variety, “Jenna and I are good now, but it was a painful break to have that fall apart, especially being so young. We tried to keep it together, tried for a year and a half, but we knew it was … Not to go into all that. It’s in the past. But it’s really tough not to have your daughter half the time. I wish I could just have her all the time.”
