After reaching the semifinal round by less than an inch, Cal Raleigh put on a clinic at the 2025 MLB Home Run Derby in Truist Park, Atlanta, hitting 18 home runs in a final-round thriller to narrowly defeat Rays’ third baseman Junior Caminero.

The Seattle Mariners’ catcher, who entered the All-Star Break with one fewer home run (38) than Barry Bonds’ record-high 39 in 2001, is 12 home runs away from becoming the first catcher in MLB history to hit 50 home runs in a single season.
