CLEVELAND, Ohio — On Wednesday, the Browns unveiled their new alternate uniform ahead of the 2025 season, coined the “Alpha Dawg” uniforms.
It’s an all-brown alternate helmet that will be worn with an all-brown jersey combination through three games this season.
For a franchise with fans who call themselves the Dawg Pound, it only makes sense for the Browns to translate that to their uniforms.
The “Alpha Dawg” look marks the first time in the team history a brown helmet will be worn.
It features a matte all-brown shell, with a brown stripe between two orange stripes in the middle and an all-brown facemask.
“‘Alpha Dawg’ embodies what we set out to be as the Cleveland Browns, the leaders of the pack. We’re excited about this new alternate helmet and the ode it pays to the rich history of the color brown as part of our organization, switching it up from our iconic orange helmets,” Browns executive vice president J.W. Johnson said in a statement on Wednesday. “We look forward to the team wearing the all-brown helmet and uniform combination for the first time on September 21 at Huntington Bank Field and leaning into the ‘Alpha Dawg’ mentality throughout the 2025 season.”
You can buy the helmet in authentic, replica and mini versions available online now.
The three home games the Browns will wear this uniform include Week 3 versus Green Bay, Week 7 versus Miami, and Week 14 versus Tennessee.
