Brittany Cartwright is recovering from a surgery she has been wanting to do ‘for years.’
The Vanderpump Rules star, 36, gave fans a candid look at her recovery on Sunday – but refrained from revealing exactly what procedure she underwent.
In the image, The Valley star had two surgical drains hanging beside her torso, which was wrapped with a compression bandage.
Despite likely not feeling her best, Cartwright managed to flash a smile while taking a selfie in her luxurious bathroom.
Cartwright didn’t reveal what procedure she had done, but suggested she had something removed.
‘When they said “remove what no longer serves you,” I took it literally,’ she captioned the post.

Cartwright’s four-year-old son Cruz adorably kept his mother’s spirits lifted as she recovered.
‘Cruzy picked me a flower from the garden to keep by my bed as I recover. He comes in throughout the day to gently give me hugs and kisses,’ she posted to her Instagram Stories.

His presence lingered in her mind as she competed on the grueling reality show Special Forces, of which she only lasted for one day.
She ended up dropping out in the first episode, and claimed Taylor had not been supportive of her chances on the show.
‘I wanted to do special forces selection because I have been through so much this year. I finally found the strength to leave a very toxic relationship,’ she admitted on the show.
Fortunately Cartwright’s spirits were lifted thanks to her four-year-old son Cruz, who plucked a rose for her to enjoy from her bedside

‘I had my ex writing me being like, “You’re not going to make it far,” before I even came here. So, like people like that I want to prove wrong.’
Brittany filed the legal papers to end their marriage in August 2024 after five years of marriage, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
Months prior to Brittany filing for divorce, she had already revealed to the public that they had been living separately for months.
In February 2024, she went on their joint podcast and announced their split.
‘Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.’

She is now dating boyfriend Brandon Hanson.
Brittany was one of the 18 celebrity contestants competing on season four of the quasi-military training reality show, which this year is set in Marrakesh.
Other reality stars include the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia Giudice.
Kristin Cavallari’s ex-toyboy Mark Estes, Randall Cobb, Eric Decker, Jessie James Decker, Andrew East, Shawn Johnson East, Johnny Manziel, Ravi V. Patel, Christie Pearce Rampone, and Nick Young, are also competing.
