Chelsea entered the weekend in second place; to stay there, we’ll need a win at a stadium where our last three visits have all ended in draws. Brentford are not as good on paper as last year, but they’re never not pesky.
Enzo Maresca is dealing with a few injury and fitness concerns after the international break, and accordingly (and perhaps with a view towards the midweek trip to Munich) we have a bit of rotation today, especially in defense where Jorrel Hato makes his first start and Wes Fofana makes his full return from injury as a right-center back. Buonanotte gets the start in support of JP, though there’s no room on the bench for Guiu.
UPDATE: Estêvão misses out due to illness.
